Well, I don't have to tell you, but it's been far too long since I posted a Weekly Update. So what the heck happened?
Well, it wasn't just one thing, it was a series of events. The holidays came along and knocked my normal work schedule out of whack and it took three weeks to catch up. The big problem with the screwed up schedule was a lack of sleep due to the wacky schedule, and when I run low on sleep I tend to put off things like writing and editing photo's.
Next up, my truck had to go into the shop for some work and I was in a loaner truck for a week. This loaner did NOT like my power inverter at all. It was pretty much impossible to edit photo's or do anything that required the computer to do much more than idle. If I stressed it too much, the inverter just shut down and I lost all my work. But now I'm up and running again.
Besides the power inverter, one of the biggest problems with the loaner truck was how much of a change it was to not be in my home for a week. I was only able to bring the essentials over to the loaner truck as bringing everything over, and setting it all back up, would take over three hours, plus another three hours when swapping back into my truck. Doing this would put me at risk of being late for my delivery. It's amazing how much stuff you use daily until you don't have it.
I have a fun story of trying to find me truck that I'll share with you next week.
