I was hobbling along this dark walkway looking for some birds to shoot when I saw this giant slug making its way across the asphalt. It was one of my first outing with e new lens/TC combo so it was nice to have a slow moving subject to shoot with. To make this shot I laid down and rested the camera body on the ground with the lens resting on the back of my hand. I flipped the camera over to live view so I could easily set the focus and eliminate mirror slap. I wound up with a fairly long shutter speed for a 420mm "handheld" shot, and my luck held out for me.
